Lindsey Valenzuela, nicknamed ‘LV’, is an Olympic Weightlifter and CrossFit athlete. She is well known by CrossFitters worldwide, having gained the label, “Lift like Lindsey.”
Lindsey trains under Dusty Hyland and works with weight management coach Mike Dolce, creator of The Dolce Diet.

She was a former college volleyball player before lifting in 2002, and competed in her first Olympic weightlifting competition in 2008. Lindsey began CrossFit training in 2009 and has since dominated the sport, including first place in the 2014 OC Throwdown and 2013 Reebok CrossFit Southern California Regionals. More recently, she was awarded 7th place in the Reebok CrossFit Games.
As a child, Lindsey participated in Jazz, swimming and volleyball. Her main athletic focus turned to volleyball in her middle school and high school years.
From there, Lindsey became a star college volleyball player at California Lutheran University.

After her college volleyball career ended, Lindsey started competitive Olympic Weightlifting and completed her first Olympic weightlifting competition in 2008. It was through Olympic Weightlifting that she came across CrossFit and has since made a quick ascent to the top, having competed in many CrossFit Games and competitions which include:
