It’s here! The companion cookbook to Mike Dolce’s #1 international bestseller The Dolce Diet: LIVING LEAN will be available Friday, July 6 for instant download on Nook and Kindle for $9.99 (USD).
The Dolce Diet LIVING LEAN Cookbook features 100 new recipes that are interchangeable for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snack and dessert options.
Mike Dolce is known for his whole-foods approach. All the recipes in the cookbook are all-natural and most feature Vegan, Gluten-Free, Health-Minded and Athlete variations.
The Dolce Diet LIVING LEAN Cookbook will be available for download in the iTunes iBookstore by mid-July.  A print version will follow at a later date, to be announced.

GRAY MAYNARD WEIGHS IN AT 155 LBS FOR UFC ON FX MAIN EVENT BOUT

Duane Ludwig: Well I’ve known Mike Dolce for three years and I’ve used him to make the cut to ’55 and it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t be making 155 for my last couple fights but it’s just too much of a stretch and a struggle to make 155 that my focus was always on the diet and not on getting better as an athlete so I decided to go to 170 based on quite a few people’s recommendations including Mike Dolce and no matter what weight you’re fighting at, you want to do it correctly and the Dolce Diet is what’s done correctly.

ANTONIO BIGFOOT SILVA WEIGHS IN AT 264 LBS VIA THE DOLCE DIET

“Things are going really well for the first time before a fight,” Silva said through an interpreter on a pre-fight conference call last week. “I was 270 pounds three weeks out of the fight, and things with Dolce are working extremely well. I’m feeling very light and fast.”

BUSY MOM DISHES ON HOW THE DOLCE DIET: LIVING LEAN SIMPLIFIES HER LIFE!

A couple of days ago I posted about changing my family’s eating habits. We’ve been eating clean and living lean and the food has been totally enjoyable and satisfying.

I’m not a big breakfast eater first thing in the morning. I love breakfast food, but like so many others, I have a hard time actually eating it at breakfast time. I know it’s important not to skip that meal. It’s the most important meal of the day. Especially when I’m going to work out, I need to put some food in my body.

I made the Oats and Berries Smoothie from The Dolce Diet: Living Lean book before my workout. It was delicious and filling!

You just throw in a cup of blueberries, a cup of strawberries (I use frozen berries so I don’t have to use ice), an orange, a banana, some almond milk, a 1/4 cup of oat brain, and some agave or honey.
Then after my workout, I made the Egg Scramble. 2 scrambled eggs with red peppers, onions, spinach and cheese, enjoyed with a piece of toast. Also delicious!
 

I’m never sure what the best thing to eat before and after a workout is, but I think I’ve found what works for me. A smoothie is light enough not to weigh me down, yet filling enough to keep my energy running on high throughout my workout. The eggs and toast afterwards is a perfect combination of carbs and protein.
The recipes in the book are great, but you can always add additional fruits and veggies to them or substitute for things you don’t like as much. Find what works for you and go for it!
