Here’s how it works:

Day 1: The Eccentric Push-Up Hold

  • Start by holding the top position of a push-up.
  • Slowly lower yourself for 15 seconds, maintaining perfect form.
  • Repeat this every hour for 10 hours.

This is about mastering control and building the foundational strength necessary for proper push-ups. By the end of Day 1, you’ll have completed 10 sets of these controlled push-ups, setting the stage for the challenge ahead.

Day 2: The First Push-Up

  • If you’ve built enough strength from Day 1, attempt your first full push-up.
  • Perform 1 push-up every hour for 10 hours.

This gradual approach helps you acclimate to the exercise, focusing on quality over quantity.

Day 3 and Beyond: Building Momentum

  • On Day 3, perform 2 push-ups every hour for 10 hours.
  • Continue adding 1 more push-up each day.

By Day 10, you’ll be performing 10 push-ups per hour, totaling 100 push-ups a day. This progressive overload strategy ensures that you’re continually challenging your muscles and building strength.
