“As a kid I was constantly bullied for being fat and it became something I truly never thought could be solved. About four years ago I reached my heaviest weight of 260 lbs. The day I chose to act on it was when my obese grandmother told me I was fat. The next day I hit the gym. I would train for hours and hours but didn’t see any results because I wasn’t eating right. I would even take multiple fat burners and pre-workout powders to try and fix the problem. I also tried eating less, smaller portions, ‘chicken and broccoli’ only meals, juicing, and fasting (but I would get hungry almost instantly). Nothing worked. Then I started noticing this Dolce Diet t-shirt popping up on the UFC weigh-ins and I did a bit of research. I listened to The Mike Dolce Show podcast just hear what all the noise was about. Then August 2013 I decided to give it a go and I have lived the lean life since then. The diet has changed my entire relationship with food and has given me hope for achieving other goals in my life.
